Give the Gift of Opportunity
Opportunity Changes Everything
For 35 years, BGC Camrose (formerly Camrose Boys and Girls Club) has been creating opportunities for kids and teens in Camrose and area.
During out-of-school hours, our trained staff and volunteers provide programs and services that help young people realize positive outcomes in self-expression, academics, healthy living, physical activity, job readiness, mental wellness, social development, leadership and more.
We are a charitable not-for-profit organization. We rely on grants, fundraisers, donations, sponsorships and community support to exist and do the important work that we do.
- As the City grows, so does the need and demand for the programs and opportunities we offer.
- We do not have the capacity to serve all the kids who want or need us!
- We do not advertise our programs, and they still fill, often with waitlists.
- There has been a significant increase in complex needs since the pandemic, requiring greater skill, more training for staff, higher staff to participant ratios and more resources in general.
- A lack of funds and physical space limit the number of children and youth we can serve, impact and empower.
We need your help to increase our capacity, expand our physical space, hire and train more staff, and boost our food and program supply budgets to accommodate more kids.
There are many ways you can help:
- Make a donation
- Become a monthly sponsor
- Host a fundraiser
- Become a Volunteer
- Donate your bottles and cans to BGC Camrose by dropping them off at the Universal Bottle depot. They will even sort them! Just tell them it’s for BGC Camrose
- Spread the word and encourage others to support BGC Camrose!
Any contribution helps and is greatly appreciated!
BGC Camrose has a REMARKABLE IMPACT in the lives of the children and youth we serve!
100% of our club parents surveyed in 2024 indicated that they would recommend BGC Camrose to others.
BGC Camrose administers a 21-question survey annually, to our members ages 8 and up, who attended the Club over a two-week period. In March 2024, we surveyed 64 of 65 kids who attended for a 99% response rate. The survey is intended to help us understand our impact in four domains: positive relationships, healthy living, lifelong learning and leadership. The results reveal that BGC Camrose is having a remarkable impact in the lives of the kids we serve…
